We have had the privilege of having Barrett Junod stay with us all week. Nick & Wendi are in Doha, Qatar for the week working out all the details for their big move at the beginning of November. For those unfamiliar with the Junods, let's just say they are the reason why Derek could easily move back to Houston every off-season. When we knew no one, Nick & Wendi would bring us into their circle of friends and always make us feel welcome. We even all four lived together in their brand new home one off-season - how many people can do something like that? But all this info is for another post that I am dreading to write. :-)
I haven't taken that many pictures this week. Sorry about that. But sweet Barrett, in his growing yet still limited vocabulary, calls me Mommy all day long. Probably because he can't say Aunt Shani yet (and why is that? how hard can that be?). Then Justin will say Mommy louder, just to remind him that it is really his mommy, not Barrett's. Here is a random assortment from the last 4 days.
Barrett is really good at saying cheese. His mother is training him well. Barrett is beating the chips with the sprinkles. Justin & Roxy watch Barrett eat Cheetos (I promise this was the only day he ate Cheetos - I didn't feed him junk all week, promise!).

Barrett has gotten the privilege of having a bubble bath every night with Justin. I was going to bathe them solo so that both boys could do as they pleased. But both want to do it together. First pic is of them saying cheese. The second is Michael Phelps in action.
Barrett loves Roxy. After Justin passive aggressively takes things from Barrett, then Barrett will go lay on Roxy in his own "I-need-to-beat-someone-up" mentality. Both boys were kissing Roxy on the mouth last night. Barrett likes to do it open mouth, just like his father with Baker & Brody. I got a pic of Derek & the boys after they wrestled for a bit.
Little acrobat. Picture of me & the boys after Hudson's birthday party on Sunday. I was holding Barrett so of course Justin wanted to be held as well. Two little cuddle bugs. Justin has loved having a brother for the week. Brooks is with another family (Kim Hall & her three girls) this week, so I know there will a happy reunion between him & Barrett this weekend. Since I won't be able to hug this little boy's neck in a few weeks, I am thankful for this quality time to spend with him. Justin goes to MDO today so little Bee and I will hang out just the two of us. Can't wait! I'm going to miss my Little Bear....

Are they moving to Doha? Ronny and I have some friends who live there, if they want a contact of Americas who are a friend of a friend... of a friend :) anyway, let me know and I'll pass along their info.
