Cracker Toffee Seven

I went to Dallas this past weekend as a last hurrah for my buddy Wendi, who is moving to Doha. All the details about that are another post, another day. I think I might be in slight denial since I keep thinking that post is a long ways away. But no, Wendi leaves November 7th for the next journey of their lives. My Midway High School besties and I met in Dallas for a very relaxing weekend. We had lunch at Shannon's house, got pedicures, did some shopping (thanks again, gang, for helping me pick out a top for my Christmas photo), and went to PF Changs for dinner. And then we ran home as fast as we could to put on some PJs and lounge around until the wee hours of the night.

Hank, Lauren's hubby, stopped by the house and was instantly delegated the task of taking a photo of the group. L to R: me, Ann, Shannon, Lauren, Wendi, Katy, & Caryn. Are you seeing a trend here? Almost the whole group has a blog except, well, it's obvious.... :-) No pressure, guys!

Another shot right before we went to go get our toes painted

Right before dinner we were out with great lighting in this little park area around all the restaurants. So, yes, picture opportunity at its best. A poor random guy got the 30 second demonstration from anal Shani on how to take our photo. Lauren was not able to join us as she was at Matt Prim's wedding.

A fabulous weekend with 6 fabulous women in my life. I have been blessed beyond measure with these wonderful prayer warriors. The type of friend some people dream of. Ladies, I can't wait until we have our next girls' weekend!
