Julia Pickett

I've posted about me going to Dallas 2 weekends ago. Another friend I got to spend time with was Elke Pickett. Elke lived one door down from my potluck roomie Sarah Munson & I at North Russell dorm at Baylor. Some of you may have never heard of North Russell dorm at BU. I for sure had not when I got the assignment to live there. Ironically all of my lifetime buddies that I have kept from college were from that dorm. Elke & Joel live in Frisco and just moved into their new home. They had been living in a hotel room for 6 months after their house got struck by lightning and was burned to the ground. Yes, it is a true story. I had not been around Julia, their sweet 3 year old, in almost 2 years. She was really hamming it up with the company being around.
