We watched Chance one evening before his baby sister was born. His second birthday party was cancelled since his mommy was in the hospital trying to wait as long as possible before having his baby sister. So we decided to make some slice and bake cookies and sing happy birthday to him. The first photo above was taken on manual without a flash, and the second was taken on automatic (I know, it happens on occasion). I personally like the lighting on the first one better.
Justin has gotten in the habit of trying to help anyone blow out their candle. Chance had a trick candle, so Justin was helping on one of the "comebacks" of the flame.

9 days after Chance's birthday, Miss Campbell Suzanne Voorhees was born at 32 weeks. I got to visit her real quick and took a few photos. I think she looks like her momma. We're all praying that she gets to leave the NICU soon and come home with the rest of the fam.
Down for the count. Worn out from all the excitement. Look forward to more photos with this precious girl without the tubes someday! Such a blessing....
