Happy Birthday, Big D!
My man is 30 today. We are celebrating in New York City and I had quick moment to blog. Not that many photos to share when I get back, unfortunately. Derek asked nicely if I was going to be taking pictures all the time and toting my camera around. I got the hint and realized life is not always about capturing every step of the way on my Canon Rebel (although most of the time it is). It's so fun that Justin can talk to us on the phone, and I think he understands what is going on this time. Everytime he sees an airplane he points and says New York. He's staying with my parents, and they have been singing happy birthday to Jesus everyday. So when we called today to explain that it was Daddy's birthday, all he wanted to do was sing happy birthday to Jesus. So Happy Birthday, Derek, and Happy Birthday Jesus.

Happy Birthday Derek!! Hope you guys are having a great time and enjoying your vaca. We are SO grateful for your beautiful home. We can not thank you enough for letting us stay here!!! Seriously - we feel so thankful!! What time are you guys getting back Sat...don't worry I am not planning on deep cleaning based on your threats to not let us stay here again, but I would like to have the place picked up and our stuff out of your way :). My phone is dead, but Angie's is working or if you get a chance you can email.
