Ginger & Justin

My cousin Ginger, who I fondly call Gingi, was in town over Christmas from Arizona. She came by to chat for a bit, which was a treat because we don't get to see her much. She's becoming a camera guru like myself, taking every one's photos and being the only person who seems to remember to bring a camera. I'd just gotten my new flash, and when it came time to take a few photos, I literally lose my mind and put my camera on green. Yes, the automatic setting. Which to some is no big deal. But after taking all these classes, reading blogs, perfecting my knowledge, etc. and then choosing to do what every other person does, and in front of a fellow photographer, no less, was a bit disappointing. But hey, I captured the moment, even if the moment didn't' quite have the same lighting.



We got some smiles, and even some over achiever grins.



I had just received my Mac version of Photoshop CS4 in the mail but had not downloaded it yet to my new laptop. So I didn't even play with the photos in post processing. Enough complaining - it was a great visit, half-par photos and all....
