Marine One

Over Christmas my family last minute got to take a tour of Marine One. President Bush was in town, so the Marines that fly him to and from Washington DC allowed my dad and a small group tour the helicopter. My parents' church feeds all of Marine One for Christmas Eve, so this was their thank you. We weren't allowed to take photos inside the helicopter, just only on the outisde.

Last time this crew will fly for the Bush's. It was fun to see where President Bush sits, what he likes to eat, and where the First Lady sits as well.

Bob Barker wannabe

This vehicle is as old as I am, and the next president will have to duck going in and out of it. Not very conducive to someone over 6 feet tall.

My dad, mom, Elise, Aaron & I. Derek stayed back while Justin napped. Probably best since the marines that watched us always had their hand close to their guns. They wouldn't have thought a two year old was very cute.

The whole crew, with the pilot on the far end on the right.

Last Christmas for us to be in such close contact with the marines. They will be taking their services to Chicago from now on.
