Kathi's Baby Shower

After spending forever trying to find this particular photo from my high school senior yearbook, I found one of the "blunder" photos. This is because Lauren's eyes are closed. Which can happen a lot (I love you Lauren!). So I hope Lauren forgives me for posting this photo. This was taken our senior year of high school. Please notice how much DENIM is ABOVE our waistlines in this photo? I believe I am wearing a denim vest with pallazo pants. Nice. Just wanted to show you just how way back this group of girls goes. Which is fun that we still get together for everyone's babies.


Kathi is prego with baby number three, which just happens to be a boy this time. This is fun since between her and her two sisters, they have 5 girls and 1 boy. It was fun to drive to Waco to have a quiet luncheon with my old high school gang. Lauren hosted us at her house and we had some quality time catching up. All the front row is pregnant - I'm telling you, it's in the water.


I always make the menu complicated and it sometimes ends up stressing me out. Lauren had a light lunch which was just perfect. I should start listening to my mom more often about less is more - don't give everyone too many options.

Kathi delivered her baby boy 5-6 weeks early last week. Hayes Seiders is in the NICU right now and we are praying he gets out quickly! We just prayed for the Seiders family the other night, which is another reason why I love our prayer bucket!
