Why I love this little boy

Though it's no secret that I have wanted another baby for quite sometime, there are so many times in one week that I will think to myself, "This is such a fun age! And it's so easy!" Justin is a barrel of fun (not to mention a piece of work when it comes time to discipline) and is constantly making us laugh. He goes everywhere with us with ease, and hey, one child truly is easy. We went to eat at Lupe Tortillas this past weekend, just the three of us, and it was just so pleasant. Justin is truly going to flourish having our full undivided attention for such a long time. Our pastor had an interview from a missionary from Thessalonica yesterday. He said he had a 16 year old, a 14 year old, and a new baby on the way. Derek and I looked at each other and joked that could be us. Kind of like Friday Night Lights (coach and his wife have a senior in high school and they get pregnant after years of giving up).

So we were trying to fit our new Roundtop pieces that will gradually make their way into Justin's big boy room. This dresser didn't fit well in this space, so it went right back in his room. I have to eventually have all the pieces painted, but I wanted to get the extra furniture in a better place. Where's Waldo?

Once again, the little man trying to "hide" from us.

After crawling in this drink container leftover from our neighborhood Easter egg hunt this weekend, my bossy 2 year old told me to get my camera. I've trained him well.

Stickers from the Children's Museum on our faces. We went last week after MDO and not a soul was there! We ran all over the place. The new renovations are awesome! I cannot imagine that place getting even better, but it just did. I had to pull Justin away from there.

Starting Monday after lunch, my allergies got the best of me and I lost my voice. My two year old son hasn't quite grasped the concept that mommy is sick, not playing a game. I have literally had to whisper for the past two days. Justin thinks it's all a game. He whispers right back to me every time. And my doctor yesterday came in my exam room whispering. He's a hoot from South Africa and had fun telling me he couldn't hear me yesterday. Turns out I also have an ear infection. Am I a two year old? I'm so stunned - if it didn't hurt so bad then I would think it was downright funny. Thank goodness for antibiotics!
