Lucy's 2nd Birthday redo

Sweet Lucy had a party scheduled in March and then had a weird physical ailment that popped up that day. Brooke had to cancel the party, which made everyone sad. So we planned a playdate at the very park where the party was supposed to be held a few weeks later. We all brought goodies for the kids and were going to surprise Lucy when they showed up.

Emily made these yummy cupcakes...

...and brought extra favors from Chance's birthday, which also had to be cancelled (thanks to Campbell putting her momma on bedrest). These are awesome - little holders to hold the Capri Suns without the kids squeezing the juice out before they even drink it.

Lucy had missed her nap at MDO that day, and went home to take a late nap. Brooke had to wake her up to come, and poor thing was in a slight daze for her bday redo.

Brooke brought a bubble blower that was very entertaining to the kids.

And then all the kids, Ava included, played on the playground. I really like this more remote play area of Memorial Park. It is off Arnot street and it's by the swimming pool/fitness area. Not many people come over here so we usually have it to ourselves.
