Ashley's Baby Shower

While I was staying at the Watkins' house in Dallas, I had the honor of attending Ashley's baby shower that was hosted at Miss Jerry's house. Wendi, Kim, and a slew of hostesses put on a great party. The colors of the baby boy shower were black and white zebra with turquoise. I see so many showers with these lanterns - I will definitely have to use them in the future.

Every table had its own set of placemats to match the decor. Guests got to grab their fave lipgloss on the way out for their favor. So I accidentally came home with three of them - don't know how that happened?! Ha!

The sass invites

Kim and I worked on this project before the start of the show. We put Graham on the white lanterns to spell out this precious baby's name. And when I say Kim and I, I mean I taped things on and stated when things were not in a straight line, etc. Kim with her scrapbooking skills had the vision for the rest of it.

Lots of boas and candles everywhere

Another place setting

Gotta love all the matchey matchey!

You can't serve fajitas without blue margaritas. I only had a small tasting as I kept losing my glass. Someone needs to help the party photographer get a sip every now and then.

After chowing down on Kim's empanadas appetizer, the fajitas were pulled out for everyone to enjoy.

Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a photo of the desserts until after they were half gone. Not hard to do when you have yummy brownies, Miss Jerry's German chocolate with caramel delights, and sopapilla cheesecake. Love the round cookie cutter presentation, Jerr Bear!

Me, Wendi, & Kim

The future grandmothers multiple times over with their coordinating outfits and matching margarita drinks.

This was all the pregnant girls at this shower. They were everywhere!

The hostesses spelling out Graham's name. Half of these girls were part of the prego bunch that attended.

We took this photo of the "ghost hostesses" that we were jokingly calling ourselves. Because Jerry & Shani just can't stand back and do nothing. We must act like hostesses because we are born to be one. At one point I was taking people's purses - I just can't help myself. Gotta always be moving and helping.

The Watkins women - Wen, Ash, & Jerry

After eating, the ladies played Bunco. One pair of ladies sat at the winner's table for I believe 8 rounds - crazy how many times they won!

Some were better than others, but everyone had a great time. It's all just luck, I kept telling everyone.

I include this not very photogenic photo because the background story makes me laugh. We were done with the shower and the only people left were hostesses. I had been up since 5am with my son and the day was starting to wear on me. One of the sweet hostesses came up to me and asked if I wanted a photo of myself since I took so many of everyone else but none of myself. She told me to just stay the way I was. So here's the way the party ended for me - slumped in a chair and pooped from the day. But what a fun day it was!

Great party, Wendi, Kim, and the rest of the crew!
