Community Group

Our Sunday school class just decided to make community groups of 4-7 couples based on geography. This was geared to produce deeper spiritual relationships within the very large class that we have. We were asked to lead up our community group in the Spring Branch area which basically entails planning an event once a month. Since half of us have kids and the other half doesn't (which is starting to change), I decided we would alternate kids and no kids each month. So the month of August was with kids, so we had everyone over for buffalo burgers and just some great hangout time. This was the first time all of the families could get together at once, since the last two times had been the majority of the group. I love this whole concept and all of our group just loves all the people that we are with.

Michelle, with new baby Riley, Jen, me, Ashley, Rachel, & Erin

Somehow got the fellas to smile for me: Cass, Chris, Big D, Jay, Vance, & Clay

And the rest of the kiddos - a non-smiling Justin, Ethan, Braden, Xan, Kennedy, & Jude

Can't remember what look I gave Justin, but he knew momma was serious so we did a redo of the smiles.

Looking forward to our adult-only bowling event next weekend. Hopefully I can bowl pretty decent since I am Miss Competitive and everything.....

I also want to comment on Michelle. She must be so popular:) I didn't even know she was preggo. That shows how long we have been gone from the class. Tell her congrats on the precious baby. Looks like a fun group!
