The last of the Thursday Playdates

Another of our Thursday activities was at Memorial City Mall. The play area had been closed for the past two days for fixing repairs and cleaning. So we got a fresh, clean, germ-free play area to play in. A bunch of the kiddos from Sunday School played on the rental cars while we awaited for the reopening of the clean play area.

Stomping Grounds Playland was a hidden jewel that I am so glad we got to play at. Though a ton of mommies went on this last Thursday activity of the summer, I decided to just enjoy myself and basically didn't take any pictures. Too bad no one else did either, so we don't have much to show for this outing.

Best kept secret in Houston, er, Sugarland. Not only was the security awesome (you had to match up with the black light on the code on both your arm and your child's arm), but it was completely enclosed, and I sat down the entire time and chatted with my friends! I knew Justin had to be close, and he ran himself ragged. I will definitely be going back to this place again. Though you couldn't take in any food, they had a great menu for both kids and moms. Try the Greek salad next time you visit. Apparently if you plan a playdate with 6 or more kids, you can reserve a private area to keep your gear, food, etc. I'll remember that next time, although the leather seats that we never moved from were awesome.

I loved our Thursday activities and the guarantee that we would have friends to play with each week. Definitely worth the effort of planning a summer of activities!
