Katy's Sip N See

I'm only behind 5 posts now - I have never been so close to catching up ever since Ike hit last September. A year of being behind. And this post is only 3 weeks behind - amazing for me these days. 2 weekends ago I went to Waco for a revival by Anne Graham Lotts (Billy Graham's daughter) called Just Give Me Jesus. It was an amazing weekend spent with my mom, grandmother, 3 of my aunts, sister-in-law, and the Lord. This was a free event, so if it's coming close to you then you need to be a part of it!

On Sunday I went to Katy Svoboda's sip 'n see for little Clark.

So Katy tells us that if we pose with our arm on our hip that it makes for a better photo. I am always on the end because I either tell everyone where to stand or am showing someone my camera. Still not sold on my cheerleader wanna-be pose that I have going on with Julia & Katy.

Emmalie's house was decorated just like Katy. Little details were everywhere that tied into the shower.

A photo of the table at the end of the shower. Much cuter at the beginning, but you still get the overall idea.

All the vintage baby items were too much to take in. Emmalie has a knack for putting a shower together!

Why have I never thought of this? Serving drinks out of baby bottles through a straw - cheap and easy and great for a baby shower.

In another sitting room off the dining room there was a cookie and water station to refresh yourselves at.

And I might seem a bit like a lunatic, but have you ever seen a craft room? Or had room for one? Emmalie owns a scrapbook/invitation store in Waco called Crop-Paper-Scissors. So it's a no brainer that she has the creative genes. The lamp shade on the left was made out of old hankies.

I took maybe as many pictures of this room as I did of the shower. I was having a dizzy spell just looking at all the right-brained projects going on in here.

I love music, so I should maybe try out one of these wreaths made out of sheet music. This piano lover was all over it.

Great weekend!
