Let it Snow

I've never seen it snow so much in Houston. Justin and I were having a hay day. Yes, we Houstonians do not have proper snow gear, but we tried to stay as warm as we could.

Justin went from just staring at it to jumping all over in it. It snowed last year almost to the day for a quick bit, but it was at night and wasn't for a long time. This was a lot more fun.

All we had for footwear for Justin was his hand0me0down galoshes. He kept calling them his snow shoes. I just wore what I already had on my Nine West tall black boots - like I said, making do.

I had an umbrellas covering me so the falling snowflakes wouldn't get in my camera. Justin thought we needed it to stay under. I had to explain that we go outside to actually play in the snow. We then went in the back yard and I showed Justin how to make snowballs. We had a long game of throwing them back and forth at each other for awhile. Would have been great had we not had cotton gloves on - our fingers were pretty cold by the end of it. I felt like a kid again.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
