Pinecones and rainboots

Out of nowhere Blogger changed their format.  I have this huge post ready to arrange the photos on for Justin's birthday party.  And Blogger won't let me crop down the photos.  So I get to start over on that one, and am trying out the new format with this post.  At least it still let's me use somewhat larger photos.  Just something I need to get used to.

The day after Labor Day brought some rain.  Justin and I had just bought him some larger rainboots at Target.  Truth be told we went to get me some galoshes, and Justin pointed out that his feet were getting bigger.  And they are - we only have one pair of 12 double wide hand-me-down tennis shoes that now fit.  Justin marched 3 pairs of shoes that all of a sudden were too tight to the big container where we keep all of our old shoes.  So it's time to go buy some fall shoes.  I'm on it.

Back to the story.  We put on our rainshoes and went to go find some pinecones.

Apparently I have to comment under each photo versus in between the photos.  Weird.   And it centered that one photo.  Loving all of this.

But I can write here.  OK, trial run for the first new blogger format.  Loving it, Blogger.  Thanks for taking a poll.  But hey, there are starving orphans out there, so who cares about a disorganized blog post, right?

We picked up every single one

I would help Justin spot all the pinecones.  We didn't have to walk far as our neighbors' trees always drop plenty for us.

Justin loves it when we find a bunch of them.

Our stash.

Justin wanted a mommy photo.  And for those that have their eyebrows raised, under this huge poncho is my walking clothes.  It just looks like I am not wearing any pants.  Just letting you know that I have on running shorts.

Strike one against Blogger on a pleasing to the eye post.  I need to get over it and go enjoy this beautiful weather!
