Lunch with Jess & David

We had the privilege of having lunch with Jessica Lundy and her new fiancee on the Sunday after Galveston.   We Smiths were SO BUMMED we had to miss the big wedding in October.   Cannot describe the emotion over the phone as we were asking Roland if he was kidding when he told us the date.  My cousin Hilary was getting married the same day.  Too bad they couldn't have occurred on different weekends.  Too much joy in one weekend!  But alas, they still would be married anyways.

We met at the glorious Lupe Tortillas.  Jess went right into loving on the kids.

 Some enjoyed it more than others.  :-)

 I can't believe we are all getting so old.  Jessica is 6 years my junior but now we are all in adult world.

 Sweet Jess - My god sister, sister in Christ, who I still feel like it was yesterday that I was 2 feet taller and loving having a little shadow.  I cannot believe you are a beautiful grown woman who is now married!  May the Lord be glorified through your witness to the world.  Cannot wait to hug your neck in 2012!
