Dinah's shower and the zoo

August rolled around and we got to catch our breath for a quick moment before celebrating both boys' birthdays.  The first weekend in August we gave a baby shower for Dinah.  Everyone brought their unwrapped gift, wrote their name down and what they contributed, and then we all just chatted.  I now it's horrible to my mom's generation, but I cannot tell you how many of the friends said they loved it.  No one had to waste time watching the gifts being opened.  I thankfully wasn't hosting and just somewhat showed up.  Fit in right where I needed to be in the stage of life I was at.

Dinah was decorating with birds, so "we" ran with it.  I kind of just showed up, bringing little.

 Everyone wrote their name down and their gift so Dinah had a record of who to thank for what.

 Kasey made a wish tree.  I brought the sign...that someone else wrote on.

 Scott made this baby carriage.  My friends and watermelons...such talents!

 This really took place the week Justin went to kindergarten for the first time.  But I had to clump it in here.  Zoo, dinosaurs, sweaty hot kids, fun memories.

I duly noted that I blogged 22 times in 2012.  In the month of January 2013 I have now blogged 12 times.  Will it continue....
