July

July.  Catching up slowly.  Derek took Lexi on her first daddy date.  In the "tool tar", as she called it at the time.

Love how Lexi is looking at her new daddy
And they were off to the mall to do the train, the carousel, and Berryhill Taco.

For the 4th of July we decided to lay low.  It was in the middle of the week, we had been very busy, and stayed near home.

I managed to find some red, white, and blue for the kids to wear.

We headed over to our old neighborhood for their 4th of July parade, which I used to be in charge of.  No longer - we can just enjoy.  Here with Maddie and the Wilson.

Getting wet with the fireman's hose

We then went home and played on our water slide.  Justin invited Maddie who accepted the invitation, and we played until naptime.

Everyone had a turn with Maddie
 Even daddy had some turns

Then we had a water balloon fight

Two days later we joined the Junods at Taddy's house for a swim.  The boys eating their corndogs

The girls quietly on the other side
 Attempts at a group shot

We tried.  We had a blast and had to peel ourselves away.

That weekend Shane came over to try out the slide.

Love the water tidal wave in this one

Next up are some i-phone photos

The girls sleeping
Wonderwild with the Browns, who take such good care of my kids.  Levi could stay by Ethan's side all day and Lexi could do the same with Kennedy.

We got one of our many turtles and made a water gun cage

Love the buns...if only it didn't take so long to fix them~!
Trying on ski gear.  Laughing because everyone grew before we went in January so we actually had to make some provisions.
Mommy took off in Daddy's car for some errands one weekend afternoon.  Me and the stick meet again.
Justin before going to golf camp with Luke Wilson.  Justin loved it!
Sic Em!  Tutu under a cheerleading uniform.  The more the merrier

Lexi's first bike we bought at Academy for $25.  We took it back 12 hours later as the pedals wouldn't stay on.
Getting a pink Chicago bear from the Connellys in Chicago
 Another Sic 'Em.
Finally, a 12-inch bike we can ride!  With weenie dog in the pouch.
Playing with Grandma's bracelets that she made
 Watch out, big brother!
 Doing her biblestudy like mommy

Playing in the rain

Riding around one evening

Teaching Levi how to dribble a basketball.  Lexi also picked it up pretty quick.

 Tree climber alert

Grandma came in town to help with the kids

Lexi could do this all day!
Thankful for all the memories!
