November 2013

I was driving to Waco for a quick Baylor football trip (in current times 2014 of course).  I thought, I should retire this blog.  Who has the time?  Much less what is my purpose in it?  Ran into a someone at the game that challenged me to continue.  To wrote the story that many long to rejoice in.  So I dredge on...for now.  It overwhelms me, I am never on the computer, I don't do social media.  But many long to have a peek in the chaos.  And I laugh and stumble through it all.  SO we continue and press on to the Goal.

Our celebratory Gotcha Day.  One year anniversary!!

Went to breakfast
That weekend went to watch daddy play in the Rice baseball alumni game.  Also got to see old foster brother, who is a starting pitcher, at the game.

Justin hanging with daddy on the field
My Rice Owls

Seating of choice for Levi - top of the dugout
Brings back some memories
Practicing his own swing
And then Derek pitched.  Rarely has this happened.  He looked like a kid in a candy store.  Huge grins.

Went to Nutcracker Market with some of my besties.  we fought the traffic, shopped like mad, and went home successful.
Our loot.
Levi with buddy Andrew from school.
Lexi hanging with Anna

Justin went to Waco solo for the Oklahoma game.  Playing video games with Daniel
Levi had a Daddy weekend and went fishing in Galveston.

Lexi and I went to the Tyler zoo while the boys were camping in Jacksonville with friends.
We love to feed the birds!
Cousin Valerie is always ready to hang
My parents found my old roomie, Elke, at the Texas Tech game in Dallas.
Lexi with her Barbie heads.

My photos got out of order.  After leaving Tyler we visited Papaw at his nursing home.  Lexi would walk so slow and be so patient with him and his walker.

Back in Tyler...we were painting pine cones.

And playing Chinese school with GiGi.

Gaming it with Valerie's own creation from long ago
Posing with GiGi and G-pa

They love to read this book...and G-pa acts out the crazy in the end.  I had this read to me when I was little.
This time she acted out the end
Visiting Papaw...in Lufkin
