It's about time, Comcast...

We finally got our cable, internet, and phone working tonight!!!!! I have not had service since September 13. Yes people, read it and wonder how different the last month would have been for you if you could not watch TV or have access to the internet. Somehow we were busier than ever! I still have posts of pictures to put up all the way from September 7th. It will get there, I promise. I will be posting individual posts of the events of this weekend, but I just wanted to put a few pictures up to feel more in sync with blogland again.

This weekend was nuts. We had an engagement party for Derek's boss on Friday night. I was tired before we even got there. I then hosted a shower for my buddy Kacey. Plenty of photos to post from this fun event.

Later that evening we then stopped by our neighbor's house, Krikor & Denise. They were having all the neighbors over for dinner. But we only stopped by for a short while. We had previous plans for the night. We then stopped by briefly to say happy birthday to my cousin, Hilary. Sadly enough, the 45 minutes we were there she never made it to the restaurant. But we got to hang with Kaki & Shane.

But we finally arrived at the Rice Baseball Field for Jon Skaggs & Brianna del Castillo's wedding reception. I had no idea what this would be like, but it was actually a blast. The weather was perfect, the dancing was great, and the tables were just out by the dugouts. Here's a photo of Derek's roomie from baseball days, Nick Iovochini, Jon Skaggs (groom), & Derek.

The next day, we had two birthday parties to attend. The first one was for Luke Wilson, who was turning three.

After a quick nap, we were on to Marin's 1st birthday party.

Easy to say we are pooped and trying to take it easy this week after lots of fun festivities for the weekend. More pictures to come. Beware, I have a month of makeups coming your way....
