Still no internet....

Day 11 of no phone, internet, or cable. It's amazing how I haven't missed the TV at all. The internet, well, I wish I could check my email a little more conveniently and a little more frequently. With the random trip to Panera to look at a few things online, I have been technology free for over a week. It's amazing how much stuff I have been able to get done around the house! Right now my computer has picked up a random weak wireless signal from a neighbor, so I am trying to make a quick post. I have 939 posts on google reader waiting for me to look at - I'll never catch up. The biblestudy I finished this summer talked about idols, and I knew that I needed to give up some of my TV shows and spend less time on my computer. I guess the Lord took me literal and did me a favor by taking it all away for me. I picked up this weak signal yesterday but it ironically only worked while Justin was napping. I am sitting in our bedroom as close as I can to the street to pick up this signal. Can you say desperation?

Anyways, I am so behind on pictures I want to post. It will be awhile thanks to our busy schedule and the fact that it took blogspot 2 days to upload these three photos. It's okay - I apparently need to be doing other things with my time these days. I wanted to how you Justin's latest character trait that is starting to show itself daily. Call it organized, anal, or slightly OCD. When he is playing with something, picking something up or putting it back in its place, he will put everything back in a line. Most of the time it is a straight line. I'll walk in the bathroom and see his bath toys in a perfect line. I'll ask Derek if he put the toys like that. He'll tell me Justin did it. And it goes like this around the house. We've started to laugh at the absurdity of it. The beaver in me just loves it though!

Here we are at uncle Steve & aunt Kerry's house. We were there for 2 days until our electricity came back on. We played with cousin Clay's old car set. Justin would put them in a line. Don't think the photo is blurry - I was purposefully focusing on the little yellow car in the center of the line.

I bought a bulk amount of Kleenex at Costco, getting ready for the cold/allergy months ahead. I walk in the find Justin putting them all in a line, making sure there was a Kleenex logo on top of each one.
Before dinner the other night I asked Justin to clean up the magnets on the fridge that he had thrown all over the kitchen. I come back on to find this.

So if you ever need a little organizing in you house, just have my two year old come help you with the next project. :-)

Hey! That's so funny about the Kleenex boxes. I bought the same ones from Costco and when I took them out of the plastic John was compelled to stack them in a tower??

I wish anyone at my house was that orderly! :)

Ever since Ike, my internet thinks I'm in League City-- isn't that weird?
