Hey Mr. Post Man

What happens when one little boy, normally a ham for the camera, decides that he will not perform for his mommy? I myriad of photos such as this. At least I can give him credit for trying. He just really didn't want to wear that hat.

Our neighbor, Luke, didn't have much of a costume that he wanted to wear. Long story short, the company that I ordered my costume from didn't send the hat. So they resent the costume, thus the fact that I had two Post Man outfits. Luke wore the other one (my neighbor, Denise, altered the other one to fit Justin better). They looked like brothers all night.

Grace was an American Idol.

Luke looking the part. Virginia & Greg, also neighbors, dressed for the night.

The kids getting candy from our neighbors, Chandrika & Naseem.

The kids pulling Derek in the wagon. This lasted only a few minutes.

Justin got his lollipop from Naseem and sucked on it the entire night. He loved going up to all the houses and we went around the neighborhood for an hour. My neighborhood blocks off all 6 streets, so no cars can drive while all the masses of people go door-to-door. Great way to spend time with the neighbors!

Lily had an earache, so she just hung out in the stroller. Justin running to the next house: "I must be first, I must get more suckers!"

Not sure what to think.

After trick-or-treating, 6 different houses of neighbors gather at the Wilsons' house to hand out candy together. We order pizza, and proceeded to hand out 18 bags of candy. Derek and I love Halloween in our neighborhood b/c it is so amazing how many people come through. I made all the junior high and high school kids tell me what they were. If they said they didn't know or "just me", I made them think of something creative (if they were in a pink shirt, then a piece of bubblegum). They didn't get candy until they told me. I was only trying to teach them some social skills and to try to think out of the box.
