The Michaelis Daycare

A few weeks ago one would have thought I was running a daycare if they saw the flow of traffic coming in and out of my house. Justin had a blast having so many friends come over, take naps, and just have a grand ole time.

I was keeping Isabel and Chance for a day. Luke stopped by to play with his buddies.

Luke left, and I took these three monkeys over to the Wilsons' house to play in their backyard. It was Spring Break and we were watching their house, so we also got the privilege of playing there as well. Notice Justin is tickling Isabel to try and get her to laugh.

I think these guys had a blast on the trampoline.

And the BBQ bubble maker is always a hit.

We then went back to finish off the leftover cupcakes from my birthday dinner. We all sang happy birthday and blew out our candles.

I used some of the leftover umbrellas from Justin's birthday party cupcakes to finish off the fun.

Take 2: Three days later, and just as much fun. I was already due to keep Luke while his mom went to have her scheduled C-section. Jake asked us to come over, so I invited him over instead. Then I thought I would ask another classmate (all four boys are in the same MDO class) whose mommy was due to have a baby any day now. Just trying to give Lori a break.

Justin, Jake, & John having a snack.

There's Justin tickling again, only this time it's Luke.

Deja vue? No, we just had the same itinerary as the previous day. I never knew you could fit 4 kids in a wagon, but here's proof that I pulled all four of these precious boys over to the Wilsons' to have some fun. The rule was no feet in the wagon - it was the only way to make everyone fit!

Fun with the bubbles again.

All and all a fun time to be a kid! I am thankful Justin has so many buddies to play with.

These days, I find an afternoon while Justin is sleeping and catch up on some blog posts. I then post date them so that I don't post them all in one day, and it looks like I keep up with my blog better than I actually do. I was looking to see when this post was scheduled and realized it was on Good Friday. I am so thankful that over 2000 years ago, my sin was nailed up on that cross. And I am thankful that it wasn't my precious son that had to die on that cross for all the world, but God's son. Now that I am a mother, this day is so much more powerful to me...
