Kicks, Candelari's, & Playing in the Rain

There is this fun soccer place called Kick's that we had been to for Luke Wilson's birthday party last year. They have mommy and me play time on Friday evenings until 5:30. Justin had an absolute blast. He kept trying to kick balls into the goal.

Waiting his turn to kick.

Even with the very serious pose I really like this picture. Looks like he's listening to a coach on the next plan of attack.

Justin really likes the Adidas shirts that my dad wears. He touches their sweat-proof material and will say, "I like it." So my dad got him a shirt, which of course we wore to the soccer place. Justin kept telling everyone that he was number three.

Afterwards we all went to dinner at Candelari's with the Pines and the Voorhees. Justin, Luke, and Chance are all within three months of each other and are all exactly the same height. It helps they all have tall daddies.

I love it when Derek asks to hold the babies. Here he is with Campbell.

It started to rain as we left, so we went home and put on our galoshes. I don't have a zoom lens, so I was holding an umbrello with one hand and holding with camera with my flash (which is very heavy) with the other.

And then I ran for cover in the garage and Justin decided to try out the umbrella for himself.

A fun evening was had by all.
