Audrey's 4th Bday

The weekend of Justin's birthday produced 2 other birthday parties as well. We went to Audrey's the morning of Justin's party. Audrey has a September 1st birthday, so she and Justin are basically exactly a year apart. Her party was at the First Baptist play area. We've never been to a party at the church before, so it was fun to experience it.

The theme was "look whoooos turning four". So Mariana made owl-shaped cupcakes as well as cupcakes with an owl applique.

Donuts were also on the menu, although this donut-hater (harsh word, but very much the truth) didn't delve into this option.

The kids roamed around on the play gym while the dads supervised. The kids also decorated an owl mask that they also took home as their favor. In fact Justin took this decorated favor to meet the teacher at school. He thought Mrs. Winkler would be interested in seeing it. Of course, his Rice daddy loved it!

There was a moon bounce house that even I got inside for quite some time. We played lots of duck, duck, goose, boys and girls taking turns bouncing each other, etc. Justin, of course, was first up in the bowling lanes. I mean, how cool is it that our church has its own bowling lane?
