Paint and heels

I have so much to catch up on.  It's so much easier to upload and not even mess with the editing of small photos in random places.  So here's a few to buy me some time to start editing the big daddy files that await me.

My aunt Joannie brought over a wooden train set that you paint yourself.  Everything was going great until I brought in the white and black to paint the tires.  All of a sudden I have a gray ghost on my hands.   A rather graceful one at that.

Oh W-O-W is right!

Nothing like Batman in heels to jump start my day.  He still thinks it's hilarious every time he does this.  Derek told me we shouldn't promote this, while I laughed and pointed out that he is in camo shorts and a Batman shirt.  Kinda matches, doesn't it?

Sweet Isabel came over for a brief stint after school the other day.  The school sent home their school shirts over the clothes we sent them in, so they look like a pair of private school kids in their matchy-ness.

Isabel was reminding me of all the Spanish words for colors.  I turned my back, heard a brief stint of giggles, and the Picasso art project turned abstract and once again on their bodies.  See a pattern here?  Wonder who started this one?

Man, this little boy is growing up way too fast.  I am just thankful that I get all this undivided time with him until the day occurs when he no longer wants Mommy's undivided attention...

I remember a period where Caden loved to dress in a pair of high heeled "pirate boots" he found in my closet. It drove his dad MAD!!! I, on the other hand, found it hilarious! Love all the time you are spending at home with your sweet family. I hope the semi-stillness is still speaking to you.
