Week one into fostering

Justin had his last week of preschool.  Nice to have him gone while I stayed with the younger two.  That Friday was his last day of pre-K.  So 6 days after getting our kids we went to Holy Cross one last time.

Mrs. Wagner's joyous class ready to put on a song and dance for us

These are completely out of order.  Bless Blogger.  At the end of the morning they let out a balloon as they all went to a total of 7 different schools in the fall.
Snacks with all the siblings.
All the kids gave Mrs. Wagner a rose

They were each given a Study Bible.
Hey there, balloon photo.  Where's the rest of your photo friends?
Dana organized the "Thank You" photo that I had always wanted to do.
Sweet big brother

Lexi showing Jake her lip gloss, a permanent fixation.  Amazing what a difference 8 months do...Lexi looks like such a baby in this photo!

Photos from that first week.  Kacey sent the kids sleeping bags.  endless hours of fun!

Visiting the train at Memorial City Mall for the first time.

We started swim lessons right away with a two week crash course as the summer took off.

Sporting some fun gear that Katy sent before we took off for Destin.
With our phenomenal babysitters who brought either a banner, a gift, or just themselves over constantly.  We are at their house playing with the chickens and their eggs.
Whenever there's a lull, Daddy takes them around the block in the "cool car".
Silly Steve & normal Kerry, along with Jody, came and slaved away with all the hand-me-downs, new clothes, borrowed clothes, and pretty much everything in between.  My dining room was totally closed off for a week as we sorted through the madness.
Love. this. photo.  Pure joy and delight.
Hey there, another out of order chicken photo.
 Watching a show post nap.
Everyone is getting a good brushing
Derek and I immediately started one-on-one dates with each child.  Levi and I went to the Aquarium.
I was about to faint while taking this photo.  Mommy and ferris wheels don't get along.
Lexi sporting a hand-me-down from Audrey.

Pressing on with my hands full of good things!
